Certified Pharmacy Technician Position Available In Berkshire, Massachusetts

The Certified Pharmacy Technician assists in preparing and dispensingprescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, ensuringcompliance with all regulations and company policies. They also managecustomer data, provide medication counseling, support pharmacyoperations, and contribute to achieving financial and operational goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Complies with all applicablefederal, state laws, pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Prepares and dispenses prescription medications, all supervised by thePharmacist.
• Follow directions from the pharmacist on duty and pharmacymanager.
• Enter customer data into the computer, keep accurate records,complete all necessary paperwork relating to the pharmacy.
• Counselspatients and medical providers regarding the nature and use of drugs,dosage, drug interactions, and side effects.
• Fulfill generalhousekeeping duties.
• Achievement of financial goals such as sales,gross profit maximization as well as minimization of shrink and supplyexpense.
• Maintain security of all controlled substances

MinimumQualifications:

• Must have received a Certified Pharmacy Techniciancertificate from an accepted program.
• Must be at least 18 years ofage.

Education & Experience:

• Ability to read, write, and perform basicmath functions
• Possess basic computer skills
• Possess strongcommunication skills
