Overview:
MASS Pharmacy is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician in Training . This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in pharmacy but may not yet be certified. As a Tech in Training, you will learn hands-on from experienced pharmacists and technicians while working toward your certification.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in daily operations Prepare and package medications under direct supervision Maintain pharmacy inventory and restock supplies as needed Ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and in a timely manner Provide excellent customer service at the pharmacy counter and over the phone Learn and follow Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required Must be 18 years or older Interest in pursuing pharmacy technician certification Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer and math skills Strong communication and teamwork skills Must register as a Pharmacy Technician in Training with the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous retail, medical, or customer service experience is a plus Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
