Maxor is currently recruiting for a pharmacy technician for ThePharmacy at Desoto in Southaven, MS. Must be aRegistered Pharmacy Technician with the Mississippi Board ofPharmacy. Responsibilities Strong knowledge for adjudicating claims and filling prescriptionsefficiently. Accept written prescriptions or refill requests from patients andevaluating information for completeness and accuracy. Record medical histories while maintaining confidentially andcompliance with HIPPA regulations. Deliver quality customer service to patients, responding toinquiries, questions, or requests. Select and count appropriate medication, place in appropriatecontainer, create pharmacy label, and places completed prescriptionin area for pharmacist to verify. Participate in inventory audits and purchasing of medications andpharmacy supplies.

Requirements:

Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Mississippi Boardof Pharmacy. In good standing with the Mississippi Board of Pharmacy. Two or more years of Pharmacy Tech experience preferred. A passion for outstanding customer service, professionalism, andteamwork. Strong communication skills.
