Certified Pharmacy Technician – Specialty Position Available In Rankin, Mississippi

• Overview

• Scope of Responsibilities:

• Works under general supervision. Follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. May assist in orienting and training employees.

• Job Summary:

• Responsible for filling and finalizing all orders prior to their reaching a pharmacist and then facilitating the shipment of medications to patients and providers across the country.
• Responsibilities

• Job Duties:

• + Prepare medication orders for final review by a pharmacist + Responsible for the proper and accurate filling of each individual order + Maintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisor + Prepare refrigerated and non-refrigerated shipments for UPS and FedEx daily + Assist in preparation of packaging for shipments + Check in orders and ensure appropriate stocking levels in pharmacy + Maintain a professional and clean appearance in pharmacy always + May assist in orienting and training new employees + Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs + Perform other duties as assigned •Qualifications•

Attendance Requirements:

• + Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts. + Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.

Minimum:

High School Diploma or GED +

Preferred:

Pharmacy Technician or related certification

• Experience:

• + Experience in a customer service related field + 3-6 months’ experience as a pharmacy technician

• Special Conditions of Employment:

• + Drug test + Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring + Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position Compensation $15.97-17.71 per hour. The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience,and education.
