Hiring Pharmacy Technician Location:

Washington, NC 27889

Duration:

13 weeks (possible extension)

Shift:

First Shift-9 AM-6 PM Mon-Friday, maybe some Saturdays (8:30 AM-5 PM) Pay range: $23 – $25/hr on W2

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent. Pharmacy Technician license required. Experience in a pharmacy setting and with medical terminology. Ability to operate a computer; ability to recognize and identify medications. Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, effective oral communication.

Desired:

Long Term Care pharmacy experience. Qualifications Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required. Experience in a pharmacy setting, particularly with IV infusion and acute care, is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration protocols. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of aseptic technique is highly desirable.
