This is a full-time position working from our beautiful Biltmore Campus location during weekday business hours. At all levels, Pharmacy Technicians work collaboratively as an active team member of the interdisciplinary team to provide patient centered care across the continuum. In this role, the goals include providing an excellent patient experience, high quality outcomes, and improved productivity for the team.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates competence in managing various pharmacy workflows and systems including dispensing, pharmacy information systems, and inventory management. Maintains a system for medication storage and security Manages medication recalls and backorders Connects patients to medication assistance resources which includes management of patient assistance program applications through pharmaceutical manufacturers Collaborates with the prior authorizations team Assists pharmacists and other clinicians with medication histories as requested Performs medication refills using a standardized protocol Support learners in the pharmacy department This role description is a general description of the essential job functions. SPECIFIED SKILLS COMPUTER

SCHEDULE
Regular attendance on-site is an essential function of this position. Work from home opportunities may be available for qualified applications. Typical business hours are Monday
- Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (or flexed to best meet the needs of the clients and/or the Division); 40 hours per workweek.
Work hours will need to be flexible in order to respond to special work assignments, or evening activities, as requested by the team leader.

Pharmacy Technician III:
