Job Description
The Pharmacy Clerk engages with customers, collecting information, processing sales through the cash register, receiving payments, and delivering excellent customer care and service. Additionally, they are also responsible for maintaining and stocking the front end of the pharmacy. Position Highlights Full-Time, Days, 1 st shift Variable 1st shift (700a-7p) M-F w/ HOL rotation, no weekends. Travel to all sites and last-minute schedule flexibility are required.

How You’ll Impact Patient Care :
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Gathers patient information, provides accurate answers to inquiries, processes payments, and expresses gratitude to all customers. Inputs necessary data into the computer system in compliance with legal requirements and follows all cash handling policies and procedures. Answers incoming calls and directs callers to the appropriate personnel as necessary. Holds responsibility for the upkeep of the pharmacy’s front end, aiding in the maintenance of stocks to ensure the availability of quality pharmaceutical products & supplies. Adheres to general pharmacy standards to promote a cooperative work environment through effective communication and team building. Contributes to the planning process by setting personal goals that support efforts for quality improvement and the attainment of departmental objectives. Demonstrates a commitment to quality improvement within the Pharmacy Department and adheres to the philosophy and the principles of Total Quality. Proactively takes the initiative for professional growth and development. Nice To Have (Not Required) 1-2 years’ retail pharmacy experience preferred.
