At TAS Drug, our technicians help guide our patients down the path to better health without ever having to work a Sunday, major holiday, or past 7pm. Essential Functions Assists pharmacist(s) in filling medication orders Assists with inventory management by stocking and restocking medications on shelves Process prescriptions at data entry quicky and accurately Interpret and reprocess most insurance claim rejects Understand medication synchronization. Make patient contact calls and process synced medications Package medications for unit dose dispensing Inspects assigned out of date sections and tags, pulls and cleans as needed. Answering phone calls and handling questions that do not require pharmacist expertise or judgment and routing calls to the appropriate party as necessary Assists with training and orientation of new teammates to department workflow and procedures Assist other team members in various job functions as volume demands Ring up prescriptions at point-of-sale Job Requirements Have a registration in good standing with the NC Board of Pharmacy 2 years minimum experience as a pharmacy technician PTCB certification in good standing Must be 18 years of age Must have a clean background check and drug screen High School diploma or equivalent Salary Range $16-$21/ per hour depending on experience
