This position offers a fulfilling opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals and ensure patients receive the medications they need. Our pharmacy is located within the building of Shannon Gray Rehabilitation Center, one of our customer facilities. Our hours are Monday through Friday 11am-3pm, however these hours of operation will expand to 9-5 upon hiring our new Data Entry Technician.

Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently for LTC residents. Includes bubble packing meds.
• Communicate with pharmacist, nurses, and healthcare providers when necessary
• Process and bill prescriptions using Frameworks Software
• Help manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Basic compounding skills
• Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and pharmacy policies

Experience:

• NC Pharmacy License required
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred
• Long Term Care Pharmacy experience preferred
• Frameworks software preferred
• Strong work ethic and ability to self-motivate to accomplish the work that needs to be done
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
