Job Summary:
Garner 5th Avenue Pharmacy, a reputable, independent community pharmacy located in the Forest Hills Shopping Center in Garner, NC is seeking to hire a Pharmacy Technician. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. Our patients are our top priority and we provide them with the best care we possibly can. If you are looking for a work-life balance and less stress then this may be the place for you. Our pharmacy hours are 9:00
- 6:00 Monday thru Friday and Saturday 9:00-1:00 (Closed on Sunday).
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Perform calculations for medication dosages
- Maintain strict confidentiality of customer records and information; comply to HIPPA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
- Process prescription orders and insurance claims accurately
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient service and care
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and labeling
Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- Proficient in performing calculations for medication dosages
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, drug names, strengths, and dosages
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
