OVERVIEW

: Our client, a US Fortune 1,000 company and a major process services provider to Government Health and Human services agencies in the US, seeks an accomplished “Pharmacy Technician”

ONSITE role.

Work schedule:

9am to 6pm Mon thru Friday and there will be some Saturdays

JOB DESCRIPTION

Current CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification preferred Registered technician through the NC Board of Pharmacy or achieve registration within 1 month of employment Effective communicator Excellent organizational and time management skills Competent in basic computer skills Multi-task oriented Ability to effectively work with people Conscientious and detail oriented Flexible and adaptable High School Diploma required

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurately count and label prescriptions so that patients receive the correct therapy regimen Record drug storage conditions / excursions Quarterly checks for expiration dates Accurate bookkeeping for daily perpetual inventory Assist other team members as needed to ensure success Proper handling of biohazard materials per OSHA guidelines Receipt of multiple drug orders per SOP standards Perform monthly drug inventory Assist the distribution team in providing all required documentation and accurate information to ensure proper shipments to the patient Perform other duties as assigned
