Job Summary and Qualifications
Seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our practice who provides specialized expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to . What you will do in this role: You will fill oral medications, automated dispensing cabinets, code cart trays, and pharmacy kits You will compound parenteral medications and ensure compounding logs are completed and filed appropriately You will manage, maintain, and ensure all reporting measures are met and completed in an appropriate time frame You will notify Technician Supervisor of stock-outs and borrowing medication as needed in a timely manner You will complete and maintain documentation of completed and in-progress tasks including communicating status at shift hand-offs and completing end-of-day procedures What Qualifications you will need: Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience in the healthcare field is preferred Must be familiar with general pharmacy practices and procedures Current and unrevoked CPhT certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board is required Must also be licensed in state of residence and employment Supporting HCA Healthcare’s 186 hospitals and 2,400+ sites of care, Physician Services plays a crucial role as the main entry point for patients looking for high-quality healthcare within the HCA Healthcare system.
