Requirements Job Summary:
Basic Qualifications:
Educational and Professional High School Diploma or any other Degree
Knowledge of retail pharmacy workflow
Registered with NH Board of Pharmacy or eligible to be registered
Annually complete all NH board of pharmacy requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a medical setting preferred Experience with integrated or urgent care settings preferred Proficiency in using computers
Be of good moral character
Shall not have been convicted of a drug-related felony or admitted to sufficient facts to warrant such findings
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication, Problem solving skills, Be well-organized, flexible
Be able to lift and move up to 30 pounds, and
Able to work independently and in collaboration with others
Be aware of and adhere to all HIPAA and 42CFR rules and regulations and must be an active participant in safety measures for ensuring confidentiality of information as it relates to clients and Harbor Care.
Good oral, written and reading communication skills. Have the ability to understand verbal and written instructions. Resourcefulness, flexibility and integrity.

Attention to detail with the ability to make meaningful observations and document these findings
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the general direction of the pharmacist-in-charge, the incumbent performs the following functions: The processing of refill request orders.
The retrieval of prescription files, patient files and profiles and other such records pertaining to the practice of pharmacy.
Verification of prescriptions for completion and accuracy.
Data entry of prescription orders.
Counting, weighing, measuring, pouring and reconstitution of prescription medications.
Collection, organization and evaluation of patient information and the management of medication distribution.
The pharmacy technician will be given the task of preparing, dispensing, distributing, delivering and administering medications under the direct supervision of the pharmacist on duty;
Stocks and manages inventory of supplies, prescription and over-the-counter medications.
Ensures absolute accuracy and precision in both the technical and clerical aspects of the job to ensure patient health and safety.
Ensures confidentiality of employee, legal, client/patient, budget, and all company matters.
Learn and follow all the regulations related to 340B program.
Blister/compliance packaging and vaccination experience will be a plus.
Performs similar or related duties as assigned or directed.
