Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our long-term care pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, knowledge of pharmacy operations, and a passion for supporting residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. You will be responsible for assisting pharmacists with preparing and dispensing medications while ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter prescription and patient data into pharmacy systems Prepare and label medications for distribution to long-term care facilities Package medications in blister packs or other unit dose formats Communicate with facility staff and providers regarding prescription orders, refills, and clarifications Maintain patient profiles and medication records in accordance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations Assist with inventory control, including restocking and checking for expired medications Support pharmacists in reviewing medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness Ensure timely delivery and proper documentation of medications to long-term care sites Follow all state and federal pharmacy regulations and company policies Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) Minimum of 1 year experience in a pharmacy setting, with a preference for long-term care or institutional pharmacy Data Entry experience with QS1 software required with high attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Must be licensed or registered as a pharmacy technician in
