Full Job Description Position:

Pharmacy Tech Location:

Fairfield, NJ 07004 Shift timings: Monday-Thursday 2:15pm-11:15pm, Friday 1:30pm-8:00pm.

Training:

Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm for 2 wk Candidate Must have a minimum Pharmacy Training License for

NJ Duration:

06 Months Extendable Based on performance

Position Summary:

You will work in an environment where the highest professional and ethical standards are maintained as well as full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. Pharmacy Technicians take important steps to ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients and they demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Experience:

1 year of pharmacy tech experience Active pharmacy tech license in the state of New Jersey, without any violations or reprimands

Duties:

Filling prescriptions 70%, Picking and Packing prescriptions 25%, Restocking and clean up 5% Success for incumbents in this role includes being able to manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team’s ability to promptly, safely and accurately fill and pack patient prescriptions. You will be responsible for picking and labeling medications and ancillary supplies. Accurately counting medication utilizing a manual process as well as any automated counting devices. Packing medications in an accurate and near manner to be shipped out to the patient.
