Onsite Position Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM Includes every other weekend

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Onsite Pharmacy Filling Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll work closely with pharmacists to ensure accurate filling, compounding, and dispensing of prescriptions in a fast-paced, team-centered environment. This is a full-time onsite position in a reputable, well-known healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists with data input, prescription filling, and dispensing as permitted Accurately fill and/or IV compound prescriptions in compliance with all regulatory guidelines Answer telephone inquiries and determine if escalation to a pharmacist is needed Prepare medications for delivery in accordance with facility schedules Support walk-in customers and direct them to the appropriate department Assist with medication ordering, inventory control, and medication returns Manage E-Kits and ensure accurate documentation Maintain active Pharmacy Technician License/Certification Follow all corporate policies, initiatives, and use of available tools/resources Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications (Must-Have): Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) Previous Pharmacy Technician experience (open to various backgrounds) Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint) Ability to work the full-time schedule including some weekends Preferred (Nice-to-Have): Experience in Long-Term Care Pharmacy settings IV compounding experience
