Overview The Pharmacy Technician will perform laboratory andpharmacy related duties under the direct supervision of anauthorized Nuclear Pharmacist. This job involves working in a cleanroom as well as occupational exposure to radiation. EssentialDuties and Responsibilities Perform the duties associated withcompounding, dispensing, and distribution of FDG and NaF, includingdata entry with Pinestar for end-of-day reports and daily dosemanagement reports. Ensure compliance with USP , , proposedregulations, or other state pharmacy requirements as applicable, atthe site level; maintain personal license in good standing throughapplicable state laws. Complete cGMP documents as required withinSOFIE’s Quality Management System. Ensure aseptic operations followinternal procedures (gowning, cleaning/sanitation, sterility,environmental monitoring, etc.), customer requirements, and FDAregulations. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Performradiation safety duties according to SOFIE’s Corporate RadiationCompliance Program and site licensing requirements. Provide qualitycustomer service associated with radiopharmaceuticals tophysicians, healthcare workers, customers, etc.: Take orders fromcustomers as applicable by state regulations Follow-up withcustomer inquiries Document pharmacy/customer complaints andimmediately notify pharmacist Perform inventory management:

Maintain production/QC/cleaning supply levels as appropriatePerform inventory reporting Perform material acceptance accordingto SOPs Clean classified and non-classified areas according toSOPs. Perform environmental monitoring of classified areasaccording to SOPs. Complete cGMP documents as required and assistsite and corporate Quality Assurance as required. Attend internalmeetings as required. Other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications High school diploma required; associates degree inchemistry, engineering, or natural sciences preferred. (Asapplicable to state laws). Pharmacy Technician Licensure orCertification as required by state law. Experience with sterilecompounding and aseptic operations preferred. Efficient in the useof MS Office Suite required. Ability to work various shifts andweekends required. Ability to be detail-oriented, accountable,patient, organized, and work in a team environment required.

Ability to communicate professionally with colleagues andcustomers, have excellent attention to detail, and be dependableand responsible in a fast-paced, highly technical environmentrequired. Ability to lift ~50 lbs. required. Up to 5% travelrequired.
