Payless Pharmacy in Linden is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in accurately preparing and dispensing prescription medications under a licensed pharmacist’s supervision. Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting patients with inquiries, processing transactions, and professionally addressing concerns. Maintain accurate inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to ensure medication availability. Ensure all pharmacy operations adhere to federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain precise patient records and pharmacy documentation. Efficiently handle insurance claims processing and resolve reimbursement issues. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a pharmacy technician training program is preferred. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with pharmacy management software.
