PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

• Full/ Part Time (Day Shift , Evening Shift) ______________________________________ Job description We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to become a part of our team!

You will assist in the typing of electronic prescriptions and preparing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Responsibilities:

• Process prescriptions using computer software
• Measure the dosages of medications, according to prescription orders
• Label and record dosage information
• Prepare medication and other healthcare products for patients
• Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an independent pharmacy is Preffered
• Knowledge of Micromerchant Systems (PRIME RX) is Preffered
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be willing to do other necessary tasks in store (everyone does everything)

Job Types:

Part-time

Salary:

$16.50 – 22.00 /hour

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Micro Merchant System:

1 year (Preferred)

Pharmacy Technician:

2 years (Preferred)

License:

PTCB (preferred)

• Punctual/Reliable Friendly/Social/Communicable
