The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacists and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of medical terminology and pharmacy practices. Duties Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. Administer medications as directed, including IV infusion and inhalation therapies. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions. Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques during medication preparation. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care in acute care and critical care settings. Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceuticals appropriately. Stay updated on medical terminology and pharmacy regulations to ensure adherence to best practices. Experience Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided. Familiarity with medication administration techniques, patient care protocols, and pharmacy operations is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety. Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary for effective communication with patients and healthcare team members.
