Pharmacy Technician Advance Care Pharmacy 280 Indian Springs Rd, Indiana, PA 15701 Technicians are a key component of patient care and the efficient operation of any pharmacy. Advance Care Pharmacy, a rapidly growing pharmacy, is hiring. We are looking for a pharmacy technician with retail and/or billing experience to join our team at 280 Indian Springs Road in Indiana, PA. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, friendly, self-directed, interested in learning new skills, and dependable.

Responsibilities:

Data entry, benefits verification, prior authorizations, and insurance billing Medication and supply preparation Maintaining an organized work area Patient/Caregiver interactions, by phone and in person Communicate with physician staff in a friendly and efficient manner Inventory ordering and management

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations Previous experience working in a pharmacy or clinical setting Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
