Lewis Environmental is seeking a motivated and safety-driven Pharmaceutical Field Technician to support a variety of environmental field operations. This position plays a critical role in the execution of projects across four key service areas: Remediation, Waste Transportation, Industrial Maintenance, and Emergency Response. Key Responsibilities:
Promote and enforce safety-first practices in all field activities, ensuring compliance with all company safety protocols and relevant regulations. Lead by example in upholding Lewis Environmental’s Core Values on every job site. Supervise and coordinate field activities including emergency spill responses, ensuring effective use of time, personnel, and equipment. Conduct pre-job reviews , including site walks and equipment checks, to confirm project readiness and compliance with work plans. Support quality assurance efforts, ensuring all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with applicable environmental regulations. Communicate regularly with internal teams and contractors to coordinate daily job requirements, changes, and updates. Document all activities , including daily field notes, timesheets, and material tracking, obtaining proper sign-offs from clients. Mentor and evaluate field staff, providing feedback and supporting skill development through training and supervision. Participate in field meetings and enforce the company’s code of conduct and disciplinary policies when necessary. Maintain and care for assigned equipment , ensuring operational readiness and reporting deficiencies. Assist with job bidding and site assessments alongside project managers or sales staff. Travel and shift flexibility , including weekends and 24/7 on-call availability, is essential to meet client needs and emergency response requirements. Safeguard sensitive and confidential information obtained during operations or client interactions.
Requirements Minimum Qualifications:
Prior experience in environmental field operations with a focus on hazardous materials or emergency response (preferred, not required) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR) Ability to pass a background check and participate in random drug/alcohol testing Availability for flexible scheduling and on-call rotations, including nights and weekends OSHA 40-Hour

Certification (or ability to obtain) Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Ability to work in various outdoor environments, including extreme heat or cold. Able to stand, walk, and exert physical effort for extended periods. Frequent reaching, grasping, and dexterity required to operate field and computer equipment. Some travel may be required for client meetings or training. Ability to work overtime or extended hours to meet project deadlines. Participation in company-sponsored training programs and certifications is required.
