DETAILED

JOBDESCRIPTIONEngage in the optimization of pharmacy operations andprocess improvement, focusing on measurable results in thedepartment while collaborating with other departments.

Assistmanagement with developing policies and procedures, staff educationand competencies, and regulatory compliance action plans. Createand maintain the pharmacy department schedule.

Manage the scheduleby posting shifts, providing recommendations for shift changes, andfinding coverage for missing shifts.

Coordinate payrollreconciliation, enter schedule occurrences, and enter otherschedule notes in the timekeeping system.

Interview all incomingpharmacy technician staff with Pharmacy departmentmanagement.

Develop and maintain formalized training/orientationprogram.

Assist in staff evaluation during onboarding, probationaryperiod, and throughout the year.

Perform the duties of a PharmacyTechnician and other duties as required.

May completeunit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined indepartment documents.

Pharmacy Technician licensure by the MissouriBoard of Pharmacy.

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)within one (1) year as a condition of continued employment in thisjob classification.

One (1) year of pharmacy experience.

PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS

Trainer experience.

Scheduling experience.

Additionallicense/certification requirements as determined by the hiringdepartment.
