1563 Pharmacy Technician PRN This is an as-needed position with flexible scheduling based on departmental needs. Our pharmacies are open Monday through Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm (no weekends, nights, or major holidays) Locations available: Lenoir City, Knoxville-Center City, Morristown and Alcoa, TN Who we are: Cherokee Health Systems is a comprehensive Federally Qualified Health Center caring for over 70,000 patients across 13 counties in Tennessee. Key Responsibilities:
Receive and verify prescriptions from patients or healthcare providers.
Prepare medications by measuring, counting, labeling, and packing prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Greet and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
Assist in processing insurance claims and resolving insurance-related issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must hold a current Certified Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT).
Previous experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.
