OVERVIEW
The Cubex Technician maintains Cubex inventory and restocks cubies for clients. Additionally, the Cubex Technician will visit clients and troubleshoots problems with the Cubex technology. This position is the point of contact for the Cubex dispensing system.
Responsibilities:
Handle all Cubex related issues Maintain Cubex inventory and restock cubies daily Occasional travel to facilities to train and update med banks Run reports on my q-link Knowledge of Data Entry Ensure medication in the Cubex has a minimum 90-day expiration Visit customers to troubleshoot problems and perform audits of medication as necessary. Assist in sanitizing IV room, equipment, and hood Assist in creating, maintaining, and exchanging emergency drug kits Preparation of the finished prescription product Proper labeling including cautionary and auxiliary labels, as well as other light warehouse duties Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently and in a timely and prioritized manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure Assist in pre-packing frequently ordered medications; label and stock as needed during low volume times Package materials and products manually Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA Maintain clean and organized workstation areas and replenish all stock supplies needed each shift Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication/product that is not scanning properly Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required and/or expected Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary depending on business needs Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations and state of practice Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year in long-term care preferred) Knowledge of brand name/generic medications Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Able to work at a moderate speed Able to work during inclement weather Reliable Good organization/Attention to detail Analytical/Problem solver Able to physically perform light lifting Must be able to work various shifts and days Basic math skills Must be willing to travel Experience in pharmacy automation (Pyxis, Omnicell preferred)

HOLIDAY & PTO POLICY
Paid holidays are provided annually, with 6 days offered each year, along with 5 sick days. Employees earn up to 10 PTO days each year, with rollover options and milestone bonuses. Employees have the option to cash out up to 10 PTO hours each quarter for added financial flexibility. Please note we are a long-term care pharmacy open 24-hours, 7 days a week. And schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
