Certification is not required but preferred. We are looking for rock stars to add to our team. Hours:

Full-time set schedule. Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm This Position is accountable for producing the following results: To perform the duties of accurately filling, packaging, and compounding medications according to USP795 standards. Help to keep the compounding lab in compliance, monitor the pharmacy’s inventory and ordering, and help keep the pharmacy clean and organized.

Tactical Work Listing:

List all tactical work for which this position is accountable. 1. Gathering and inputting complete information in a timely manner 2. Accurately compounding medications according to USP795 standards 3. Reordering medication and supply inventory as needed to maintain stock 4. Compounding and prescription records are maintained/filed in an orderly fashion 5. Accurately packaging medications for our compliance packaging program 6. Answering the phones in a timely manner, and providing exceptional customer service. 7. Accurately ringing out prescriptions for shipping and pick up, and handling cash register duties. 8. Receiving orders/shipments from various vendors. 9. Efficiently filling prescription baskets in order of priority 10. Complete special projects or tasks as assigned by supervisor/management

Position Specific:

1. Prioritize workload based on priority 2. Communication notes will be documented and timestamped/initialed in patient profile in a clear and precise format 3. Any delay or issue with prescriptions will be communicated immediately to patients 4. Compounding lab is kept clean and clear of clutter, completely cleaned according to USP795 standards at end of day 5. Always work well with and respect other team members 6. Appropriate lab garb is worn when compounding (including but not limited to: gowns, masks, hair net, glasses, footwear) and name tags are to be worn when working

Company-Wide:

1. All work will be performed according to company policies and standards, as well as in the spirit of the company’s culture and goals 2. All patient telephone calls will be returned within two hours whenever possible, or within one business day at the latest (this is the responsibility of the person taking the message) 3. No personal cell phones while working, including texting, unless approved by management 4. All HIPAA regulations will be followed 5. All proprietary company information will be held as strictly confidential outside the company 6. Immediate manager will be notified of any issues that cannot be resolved, or deadlines that cannot be met within a reasonable time frame, and before the deadline has arrived. 7. The company dress code will be followed at all times 8. Employees will respect each other’s time, space and need for concentration. Socializing and interruptions must not impede workflow. 9. Patients will have our full attention when handling a phone call 10. All employees are expected to be on time and at their work station for the start of their shift. Always be “fully present” 11. The store should be neat and clean at all times
