Job Summary:

Under the direct and indirect supervision of the pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in patient communication, therapy progress, medication management, and inventory control. The Pharmacy Tech will assist in ensuring that patients receive timely refills, necessary supplies, and consistent follow-up care.

Key Responsibilities:

12 months of pharmacy tech experience.
Communicate regularly with patients to review therapy progress, medication profiles, and inventory needs.
Assist in scheduling patient follow-up appointments, refills, and deliveries.
Document patient progress and report any non-compliance or concerns to the team pharmacist.
Provide patient/caregiver education as needed.

Experience:

TN Pharmacy License
PTCB required

Experience:

Previous experience in a pharmacy or patient care setting preferred.

Skills:

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Must have a compassionate and patient-focused attitude.

Technology:

Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and pharmacy software.
