This is a full-time position with consistent weekday hours and the chance to transition into a permanent role.

Overview:

The Pharmacy Technician will play a vital role in a high-acuity infusion pharmacy setting. This includes performing sterile IV admixture compounding, handling prepackaged medications, managing inventory, and supporting quality assurance activities. All work will be performed under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform sterile IV and non-sterile medication compounding Prepare and enter prescriptions into CareTend for pharmacist verification Maintain appropriate inventory levels and rotate stock as needed Accept and verify product deliveries; manage related documentation Coordinate drug, supply, and pump shipments with internal staff and field teams Monitor deliveries and confirm receipt; update patient records accordingly Participate in ongoing pharmacy quality assurance processes Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy work area

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of IV/infusion or hospital pharmacy experience focused on sterile compounding Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license PTCB certification strongly preferred Strong familiarity with sterile compounding best practices and USP standards Experience using CareTend (or CPR+) is a plus To apply or inquire more about this position, please contact or call 832-219-6206.
