Competitive Compensation:

The starting hourly rate is $20 for a Non-Certified Pharmacy Technician and $21 for CPhT.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent Pharmacy Technician License 1+ years’ experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a high-volume environment. Strong attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be able to pass criminal and drug screening process.

Duties include:

Perform equipment setup, operation, adjustment, and minor preventative maintenance task. Responsible for maintaining Quality Standards to ensure specifications and codes are met. Responsible for meeting and exceeding machine requirements daily. Assisting other technicians by working with them to achieve machine daily requirements Verify all orders are placed in correct handbook to ensure Quality Control can perform their duties and responsibilities. Assist in hand packing when necessary. Keep workstation area clean and organized. Check that trash is emptied and disposed of properly and that area is free from any safety hazards at end of shift. Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral English communication and to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and vendors.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, stir, walk, and stand for extended periods throughout the workday. The employee is required to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently to lift/move objects. Able to reach, carry, finger, grasp and feel objects related to duties.
