Position:

Pharmacy Technician –

Part-time Work Schedule:

Monday through Thursday 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm Saturday 7:00 am to 2:30 pm and/or Sunday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Competitive Compensation:

The starting hourly rate is $20 for a Non-Certified Pharmacy Technician and $21 for CPhT.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent is required. Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Tennessee is required. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Strong oral communication skills. Dependable in attendance and job performance. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting production standards. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.

Duties Include:

Rotate through shipping stations for production purposes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment free from hazards. Shipping tasks include operating the sorter, staging, auditing, packing, and shipping. Rotate through various fulfillment departments, including LCA and Bulk, for production purposes. Ensure prescriptions are not damaged, and inform management team if medications are not packaged correctly. Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Production Manager.

Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral English communication and to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and vendors.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, stir, walk, and stand for extended periods throughout the workday. The employee is required to exert up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently to lift/move objects. Able to reach, carry, finger, grasp and feel objects related to duties.
