The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing blood from patients for various laboratory tests and procedures. They will be responsible for traveling to locations in and around the Birmingham area to cover for other phlebotomists. Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture to collect blood samples
• Label vials with patient names and dates
• Organize and send specimens to the laboratory for testing
• Follow proper aseptic techniques during specimen collection
• Interact with patients in a professional and empathetic manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications
• Proficiency in specimen collection processing
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
• Experience with blood sampling and venipuncture
• Strong patient service skills
