Document all procedures performed in accordance with medical terminology standards. Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely processing of specimens. Adhere to hospital protocols and regulations regarding infection control and safety measures. Stay updated on best practices in phlebotomy and participate in ongoing training as required. Requirements Proven experience in patient service with strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of laboratory techniques and specimen collection processing. Understanding of human physiology and medical terminology related to phlebotomy. Proficiency in blood sampling techniques, including the ability to phlebotomize efficiently. Familiarity with aseptic technique to prevent contamination during procedures. Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals.
