We are currently seekinga Phlebotomist to work in a hospital setting at Mobile InfirmaryHospital.

• In this role you will provide exceptional customerservice, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face ofthe company.

In addition, you will be provided opportunities forcontinuous growth within the organization.

Work Schedule:

Mondaythrough Friday 2pm-10:30pm, with rotating weekends

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillarytechniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcoholtests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate andtimely manner Process billing information and collect payments whenrequired Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Receive and sort clinical lab specimens Prepare specimens for testing and analysis Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minorinstrumentation maintenance Troubleshoot any specimen related issues Replenish test bench supplies as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment Complete record logs and other administrative duties asrequested Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety andquality standards

Job Requirements:

. High school diploma or equivalent Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency ispreferred Previous experience as a phlebotomist Proven track record in providing exceptional customerservice Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation and clean driving record ifapplicable Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to pass a standardized color blindness testIf you’relooking for a career that offers opportunities for growth,continual development, professional challenge and the chance tomake a real difference, apply today!
