Adult RN Per Diem/ Casual Mobile Health Clinical Trials, phlebotomy, Troy AL Seacole Health Troy, AL Our Mobile Health Nurses perform in-home visits for clinical trial participants. A typical visit involves a drive to the participant’s home, with the collection of blood specimens via phlebotomy, lab processing and vital signs. This position is posted to serve an adult research participant getting 3 in-home visits over the course of 2 weeks, with the first visit on Monday July 7. This is an ideal position for a nurse looking for a quick summer side gig without a major ongoing commitment. We pay for 5 hours of training and your travel time plus mileage. At most visits, blood specimens are processed in-home using a portable centrifuge, and samples are shipped to the study lab via courier. Research participants are assessed for adverse events and any new findings are reported. Clinical trials or home health experience desirable but not mandatory. Strong independent clinical skills, detail-orientedness, and a desire to help contribute to science will make you an excellent candidate for this position. Expertise with current experience (last 12 months) in phlebotomy is required. Experience in acute care, ED, ICU are excellent bases for this position.
