Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist/ Collector to join our team. As a Phlebotomist/ Collector, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare system by collecting blood/ urine samples from patients for diagnostic testing.

Duties:

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples from patients
• Label and properly store blood samples as well as urine specimens for laboratory testing
• Verify patient information and ensure accurate documentation of procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures
• Provide exceptional patient care and ensure their comfort throughout the process
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely specimen collection

Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

• Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Proficient in performing venipuncture and other blood sampling techniques
• Experience working in a clinical laboratory or hospital setting is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with patients of all ages The days worked will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00AM to 4:00PM.
