The ideal candidate will support laboratory operations by assisting in various tasks related to specimen collection, processing, and analysis. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely results that contribute to patient care and treatment decisions. Duties Perform venipuncture and blood sampling procedures with precision and care. Assist in the preparation of specimens for analysis, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Conduct routine laboratory tests and maintain accurate records of results. Monitor and record vital signs as required during patient interactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure effective patient care and communication. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to assist in laboratory processes. Support quality control measures by following established laboratory techniques and protocols. Experience Previous experience in a venipuncture is mandatory. Familiarity with laboratory techniques and procedures related to blood sampling and specimen handling. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on patient care.
