The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood sampling and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and laboratory procedures to provide exceptional service to our patients while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This is a part time position that could transition into a full time role next year. Schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30 AM -12:30 PM. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and care. Collect and label blood and urine samples accurately for laboratory analysis. Assist with vaccine and therapeutic injections. Ensure patient comfort and safety during the blood collection process. Maintain knowledge of vital signs and monitor patients as needed. Provide excellent patient service by addressing concerns and answering questions regarding procedures. Adhere to all laboratory protocols and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment sterilization. Proven experience in blood sampling techniques, including venipuncture. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to phlebotomy and patient care. Knowledge of anatomy to identify appropriate sites for blood collection. Familiarity with laboratory procedures and protocols is preferred. Excellent communication skills to provide effective patient service. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification in phlebotomy or relevant training is highly desirable.
