Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist Overtime Men’s Health 9280 Bay Plaza Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33619
Duties:
Assist healthcare providers during patient consultations and procedures. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies. Perform routine clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, drawing blood, administering injections, and processing lab samples. Document patient medical history and maintain accurate records in the electronic health record (EHR) system. We currently use Zenoti. Provide patient education on treatments, medications, and post-procedure care. Greet patients with professionalism and ensure a welcoming environment. Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and follow-ups via phone, email, or online systems. Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, including scheduling follow ups and processing payments. Maintain accurate and organized patient files and administrative records. Answer phone calls and emails, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate staff member. Manage inventory of office supplies and clinical materials, coordinating orders as needed.
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent medical assistant training is required. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or medical office setting. Bonus if you have MedSpa experience! Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) and clinic/spa scheduling systems. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality.
