Our primary function is to offer continuous nursing, medical, and other health and social services on a 24-hour basis, under physician directed care and RN supervision. We service a multitude of patients and their families across our vast network, while remaining committed to the professional development of our staff, the functional improvement of our patients, and the cultivation of strong partnerships within our communities.

Position Qualifications Education:

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must display ability to read and understanding written data and medical terminology. Must possess good verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with all age groups. Must demonstrate age specific phlebotomy competencies for all age groups. Must demonstrate the ability to perform all specimen processing functionalities. Data entry skills are required. Order and report distribution skills are essential. Professional customer service skills and positive attitude required. Must display ability to learn and retain policy, procedure, and computer training. Assists with maintaining laboratory operations and performs other tasks as necessary to ensure continuity of patient care. Multitasking skills required.

Experience:

Successful completion of a phlebotomy training program is preferred.

Licenses/Certificates:

Board accredited phlebotomy certification preferred. Medical assistant certification/registration acceptable. Certificate of achievement or diploma from a recognized phlebotomy training program required. In lieu of program certificate/diploma, on the job training and years of experience may be considered acceptable upon review. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers certification required. Employee is responsible for obtaining certification at their own expense.
