Rotating Saturdays:

6:30 am

• 11:00 am at two differentlocations.

Job Description:

• Draws quality blood samples frompatients and prepares those specimens for lab testing whilefollowing established practices and procedures.
• Direct contactwith patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidencewhile explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimensin a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• Leadership Behaviorswhile focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity toconfidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
• Performswith confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collectionand processing duties following established practices andprocedures.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Minimum 6 months’ phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomycertification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalentrequired.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
• Medicalassistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Interviews forPhlebotomy roles will be scheduled each Wednesday and Thursdaybetween 2-4 PM EST and all interviews will be conducted ONSITE.
