- The Patient Services RepresentativeII (PSR II) represents the face of our company to patients who comein, both as part of their health routine or for insights intolife-defining health decisions.
- The PSR II draws quality bloodsamples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testingwhile following established practices and procedures.
- The PSR IIhas direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trustand confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawingblood specimens in a skilful, safe, and accurate manner.
- The PSRII will demonstrate Leadership Behaviours while focusing on processexcellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracyto patient information.
- Successful applicants may be assigned toa doctor’s office, a patient service centre or as business needsdictate.
- Under the direction of the area supervisor, performdaily activities accurately and on time.
- Maintain a safe andprofessional environment.
- Performs with confidence, both theforensic and clinical specimen collection and processing dutiesfollowing established practices and procedures.
- Performverification of patient demographic info / initials includingpatient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes were labelledin their presence and that the name on the label is correct.
- Maintains required records and documentation.
- Demonstratesorganizational commitment and promotes a positive image topatients, clients, employees, and the public in general.
JobRequirements:
- Ability to provide quality, error free work in afast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently withminimal on-site supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills toinclude paediatric and geriatric.
- Flexible and available based onstaffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call andovertime.

- Must be able to make decisionsbased on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
- Musthave reliable transportation, valid driver license, and cleandriving record, if applicable.
- Travel and flexible hours requiredto work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient ServiceCentre/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
- Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
- Must demonstrate Superior Customer Focus; ability to communicateopenly and transparently with peers, supervisors, and patients;ability to accelerate and embrace change; and knowledge of ourbusiness.
- Training locations may vary based on traineravailability.
