Full Job Description Description:
We are excited to announce an opening for a Phlebotomist at our SW Orlando office. As a phlebotomist, you will interact with patients and perform routine blood drawing procedures under the direct supervision of our physicians. You will be responsible for collecting blood samples in accordance with hospital and laboratory policies, as well as federal, state, and local regulations. You will also be tasked with labeling samples appropriately and logging all information related to tests performed and samples taken into a database.
Key Responsibilities:
Process blood, including centrifuging and separating serum. Label and store blood according to protocol. Keep an accurate log of all blood draws to record dates and times of processing. Pack and ship blood samples. Assist Medical Assistants as needed Other duties assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist Bilingual (English/Spanish) Electronic medical records (EMR) experience (eClinicalWorks preferred)
