The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing venipunctures and blood sampling while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and laboratory techniques, as well as excellent patient service skills. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and other blood collection techniques with precision and care. Collect, label, and process specimens according to established protocols. Ensure the proper handling and storage of specimens for laboratory analysis. Monitor patients’ vital signs before, during, and after procedures to ensure their safety. Maintain accurate records of patient information and specimen collection. Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to maintain a sterile environment. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing concerns and answering questions regarding the procedure. Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow and accurate test results. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology related to phlebotomy. Proficient in venipuncture techniques and blood sampling procedures.
