Travel Phlebotomist (50 Miles radius rule) 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Canton, GA 30115 Job Summary The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for medical testing in clinical laboratory settings. Duties Perform venipuncture and skin punctures to collect blood samples Label vials with patient names and dates Organize and send specimens to the laboratory for testing Follow aseptic techniques and standard precautions Interact with patients to allay fears and ensure comfort during the procedure Record patient information accurately Process samples for testing or storage Experience Prior experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting preferred Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques including venipuncture and specimen collection processing Knowledge of anatomy, vital signs, and patient care Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment
