Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant Bubolo Medical Acworth, GA 30101 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring a smooth operation within our facility. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as proficiency in laboratory procedures and patient care. Responsibilities Assist providers with patient intake. Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques. Conduct blood sampling and other laboratory techniques as required. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of medical history. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and providing comfort. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the medical office or clinic environment. Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Requirements Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential. Experience with laboratory procedures, including specimen collection processing. Proficiency in aseptic techniques and blood sampling methods. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory. Certification as a Medical Assistant or relevant training is an advantage.
