The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for medical testing. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture to collect blood samples Label vials accurately and ensure proper handling of specimens Conduct patient interviews to obtain medical history and verify patient information Process collected specimens for testing in the laboratory Maintain a clean and organized work environment Provide exceptional patient care during the blood collection process Requirements Proficiency in venipuncture techniques and specimen collection processing Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical laboratory procedures Ability to demonstrate excellent patient service skills Understanding of vital signs, physiology, and laboratory techniques Prior experience in blood sampling and specimen processing is preferred Certification as a Phlebotomist is a plus $HC=Indeed Also searched as
