Full Job Description Job Summary Work Schedule:
Mon-Fri:

8:00am-5:00pm We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and laboratory procedures, with a focus on blood sampling and venipuncture. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate collection of blood samples for diagnostic testing, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our patients. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures to collect blood samples from patients. Ensure proper identification of patients and accurate labeling of specimens. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety protocols. Assist in the preparation of specimens for laboratory analysis. Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during blood collection procedures. Document patient information, vital signs, and procedural details accurately. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. Stay updated on laboratory procedures and best practices within the clinical setting. Requirements Previous experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology and laboratory procedures related to phlebotomy. Proficiency in blood sampling techniques, including venipuncture. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification as a Phlebotomist is highly desirable but not mandatory.
