Phlebotomist II – East Ellijay Position Available In Gilmer, Georgia

Phlebotomist Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in blood collection techniques and specimen processing, with a strong commitment to patient care and customer service.

Responsibilities:

+ Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all age groups + Collect specimens for drug screenings, paternity tests, and alcohol testing + Accurately enter patient information into the system in a timely manner + Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis + Maintain patient and specimen logs + Provide superior customer service to all patients + Assist with administrative and clerical duties as needed

Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

+ Phlebotomy experience: At least 3-4 years + High school diploma or equivalent + Strong communication skills (verbal and written) + Ability to work independently and within a team + Comfortable working with minimal supervision + Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Preferred:

+ Experience working with hard-to-stick patients + Proficiency in urine collection and thyroid testing + Leadership qualities and attention to detail + Computer skills, including data entry and processing + Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $22.00/hr.
