• _Hiring for an experienced phlebotomist with previous hospital experience to start working immediately with a well-established medical center!_

• Pay:

• $20/hr

• Schedule:

• M-F 8a-5p

• Location:

• Shreveport, LA

• Type of Job:

• 3-4 month assignment with possible extension / conversion

Responsibilities:

_

• + Responsible for accurately obtaining blood samples via venipuncture and capillary collection procedures with minimum customer discomfort.

+ Follows laboratory procedures for specimen collection and handling. + Correctly identifies patient and properly labels specimens. + Correctly identifies proper priority for collection process. + Utilizes resources for proper collection and processing of requested tests. + Understands and follows all safety, infection control, and OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines. + Understands and follows all HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications:

• + High School Diploma or equivalent. + 3-5 years of experience performing venipunctures. + Good Attendance and computer skills.
