Phlebotomist 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Shreveport, LA 71107 Hiring for an experienced phlebotomist with previous hospital experience to start working immediately with a well-established medical center!
Pay:
$20/hr
Schedule:
M-F 8a-5p

Shreveport, LA Type of Job:
3-4 month assignment with possible extension / conversion
Responsibilities:
Responsible for accurately obtaining blood samples via venipuncture and capillary collection procedures with minimum customer discomfort. Follows laboratory procedures for specimen collection and handling. Correctly identifies patient and properly labels specimens. Correctly identifies proper priority for collection process. Utilizes resources for proper collection and processing of requested tests. Understands and follows all safety, infection control, and OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines. Understands and follows all HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience performing venipunctures.
